Away for 1-2 weeks?

The Foundations course curriculum has in-built make up weeks. If you miss a class or two, you will have plenty of opportunities to make up the class within the framework of the curriculum. You can also plan your Open Studio time during Office hours with our instructors to help catch up.

A note on personal projects

The Foundations course is wholly a beginner course and requires students to closely follow the curriculum, which has been designed by experienced ceramic educators. To ensure getting the most out of this course and to set beginners up for long term success in their pottery journey, we do not encourage working on personal projects during Foundations class, unless they overlap with the scope of the curriculum. To work on personal projects, enrolled students can utilize our generous Open Studio hours!

Are you an intermediate potter looking for studio space?

Our Foundations course is meant for true beginners, giving new potters a supportive, step-by-step introduction to clay. If you’re already practicing and only need occasional check-ins with instructors, we encourage you to look into our memberships or punchcards, which come with instructor Office hours.
